Summer Youth Support Group Skagit
Summer Support Groups are professionally facilitated experiences for youth and teens, ages 13 and up, offering a safe place for youth and teens to process difficult feelings, including (but not limited to) anxiety, depression, grief and isolation. Offered Biweekly starting July 2, 2021.

About the event
With the guidance of a licensed therapist and support from peers, youth are able to share their feelings and learn healthy coping skills and how to better regulate emotions.
GROUPS WILL SPEND TIME EACH WEEK:
Connecting and processing feelings in a safe place
Working with horses to learn how to build safety, regulate emotions, and improve relationship skills
Engaging in creative expression opportunities
Exploring and connecting with nature
Developing valuable life skills and tools to apply to life’s challenges.
STRUCTURE:
BiWeekly “Drop In”* Sessions (Ongoing participation recommended)
*RSVP required 24 hours in advance.
Cost: $50 per session (scholarships & sliding scale opportunities available)
